What you can expect from our cancer care team

We know it can be stressful to receive a cancer diagnosis. Chances are you’ll want to get treatment started right away. So we’ll make your first appointment as soon as possible – usually within a week.

During your first appointment, you’ll meet an oncologist or a certified oncology nurse. These cancer specialists will be able to address questions and worries you have about your diagnosis.

They’ll also discuss the benefits and potential downsides of different treatment options. And then they’ll coordinate with other doctors and specialists to create the best care plan for you, based on your preferences and care needs.

Getting to HealthPartners Cancer Center at Westfields Hospital & Clinic

The Westfields Hospital campus is conveniently located right off of Highway 64 at 501 Hospital Road on the west side of New Richmond. The cancer center is on the western part of the campus. We’ll be on your right if you're facing the hospital from Highway 64 (4th Street). Free parking is available.
