Charge Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Department - .8 FTE

Hours:  Evening and Night 8 or 12 hour shifts with every other or every third weekend

Main Responsibilities:  Strong clinical skills, critical thinking, be able to work independently in a fast paced setting.  Experience in leadership that role models a positive, can do attitude.  Demonstrates flexibility and partnership.

Qualifications include: Current WI RN license.  Certified in BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC.

 

Registration Clerk - Health Station - Casual
Hours:: Weekday 8:45am - 7:00pm; Saturday 8:45am - 5:00pm; Sunday 10:45am – 5:00pm 

Main responsibilities:  Schedule and register patients and verify patient insurance.  Answer telephone and provide clerical duties.  Collect patient payments.

Qualifications include:  High school diploma and customer service experience required.  Computer experience required.  One year experience in a hospital or medical facility preferred.  Insurance experience preferred.  

 

Certified Nursing Assistant - Med/Surg – .6 FTE

Hours: Rotating shifts evenings and nights including every other weekend.
Main responsibilities: Taking vital signs and assisting patients as needed with ADLs.  Supporting the primary RN with patient cares as directed.
Qualifications include: Current C.N.A. Certification.
 
Respiratory Therapist - .6 FTE
Main responsibilities: Work in collaboration with physicians and the health care team to support and care for patients diagnosed with lung, heart and sleeping disorders.  Providing care to patients with empathy and care, administering diagnostic testing, giving treatment, educating patients about their diseases, and managing illness and related symptoms. 
Qualifications include:  Wisconsin RCP License required.  Graduate of an accredited RT Program with the minimum of an AAS degree required.  BLS and ACLS certified or willing to get within 6 months required.  NRP required. 

 

Surgical Scrub Technician - .8 FTE
Hours:  Days and hours vary; will be required to be on call
Main responsibilities: Responsible for preparation of surgical cases/procedures. Able to assist in the Central Sterile Processing as needed. Maintains PAR levels of supplies and surgical instruments so a thorough understanding of surgical equipment and instrumentation. Ability to scrub surgical cases from a variety of specialties. Responsible for working as a team with the Surgical Services staff to provide the best patient experience. 
Qualifications include: Completion of a Surgical Scrub Technician Program from an accredited school is required.  Completion of Surgical Technician Certification preferred.  Excellent communication skills required. 
 
RN Obstetrics - Casual
Hours: Casual/On Call (shifts and hours vary) Minimum shift requirements include one weekend shift and one weekday shift per month.
Main responsibilities: Works primarily with patients in the obstetrics department to implement highest quality nursing care for intrapartum/postpartum and newborn patients. Demonstrates good communication skills, critical thinking skills and exercises good judgment.  Must be willing to assist with the care of Med/Surg patients as needed.
Qualifications include: Current Wisconsin RN, BLS, ACLS, NRP and STABLE certifications and previous OB experience required.
 
Inpatient Pharmacist - .3 FTE (Casual)
Main responsibilities:  Evaluate inpatient orders, kinetics dosing, anticoagulation monitoring, review chemo regimens.  Must be dependable and patient focused.
Qualifications include:  Must be a Registered Pharmacist in the state of Wisconsin.  Hospital experience preferred.
  
Retail Pharmacist - .5 FTE
Hours:  Hours of staffing for the retail pharmacy are Monday - Thursday from 8:00 am - 7:15 pm; Friday from 8:00 am - 6:15 pm; and Saturday from 8:00 am - 12:45 pm.  Employees will be working every other or every third Saturday. 
Main responsibilities:  Maintaining an environment of collaboration and cooperation, ensuring compliance with standards, providing guidance to the pharmacy technicians, and providing positive customer service.
Qualifications include:  Registered pharmacist with Wisconsin license or licensure eligible and retail pharmacy experience.  Excellent interpersonal skills. 
 
Paramedic (Ellsworth Area Ambulance Service) - Per Diem
Hours:  Per diem.  Flex start time; up to 24 hour shift.
Main responsibilities:   The per diem paramedic will supplement the full time paramedic staff when additional paramedic staffing is needed.  Per Diem paramedics will respond to calls for emergency medical services (EMS); render ALS and BLS care to those in need of assistance; operate and maintain emergency response vehicles and base station; participate in continuing medical education and provide EMS education and training to others.
Qualifications: NREMT and State of Wisconsin certified paramedic.  Healthcare provider CPR certified.  Valid driver's license.  ACLS certified.  Certified in NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800.
